Abstract
MagIso™ Wheat Germ Agglutinin Magnetic Particles, 1.5 μm (# WHM-AB025) are silica coated magnetic particles functionalized with Wheat Germ Agglutinin on the surface. Wheat germ (Triticum vulgaris) agglutinin is covalently attached to functionalized MagIso™ Plus particles for use in glycoprotein isolations from mammalian serum and cellular extracts. The particle-bound cell separations require a 5-10 minute magnetic separation.
