Ethereum (ETH) recently mirrored Bitcoin’s move by correcting lower from the $1,880 zone, breaking below key supports at $1,850 and $1,800. The decline found a strong base near $1,750, forming a low at $1,752 before ETH began a fresh upside push. This short-term recovery also adds weight to bullish sentiment surrounding Ethereum price prediction 2025, as the asset continues to show resilience near critical support levels.
This recovery saw ETH climb back above $1,800 and the $1,810 resistance, breaking a bearish trend line on the hourly chart. The move was supported by a recovery above the 50% Fib retracement level from the $1,872 swing high to the $1,752 low, pushing ETH above its 100-hour Simple Moving Average.
However, resistance is building around the $1,840 zone—closely aligned with the 76.4% Fib retracement level. A clear break above $1,880 remains crucial. If bulls succeed, the path toward $1,920 and potentially $2,000–$2,050 opens up in the near term.
On-chain and derivatives data support the bullish outlook. Coinglass reports a 26.51% surge in trading volume to $46.3 billion, with open interest climbing 1.13% to $21.9 billion. Notably, options volume spiked 75% to $357.69 million—signaling strong trader anticipation of volatility.
The long-to-short ratio on Binance and OKX stands above 2.0, with Binance’s top traders showing an even stronger 2.76 bias toward longs. This indicates growing market confidence in further upward price movement.
