Farming has always been the basic occupation of the maximum population in India. People have relied on taking up farming as a means to earn their bread and butter since ages. Earlier farmers and even the end consumers were not aware of the side-effects of using pesticides, chemical fertilizers, chemical manure, and other synthetic chemicals to boost the growth of the crops and keep away the insects that damage the crops.
